We share our story through local media, community events, partnerships, and conversations because awareness creates access. When someone knows where to find a warm meal, a helping hand, or a connection to resources, that knowledge can be the first step toward something better.
And when our community knows what The Branches is doing, they have the opportunity to become part of it.

Who We Are
A Place to Turn. A Community to Lean On.
Since 2007, The Branches Outreach has been a place where our neighbors can find food, compassion, connection, and a path forward.
As a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Cape May County, we provide essential resources and support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, poverty, and other hardships, always with dignity, respect, and compassion.
But we’re more than a place to get a meal or a bag of groceries.
We’re a place to turn when life gets difficult.
What We Do
The Branches is here for all of it.
Our services include:
- Warm meals and food assistance
- Showers, clothing, and personal care supplies
- Food pantry and mobile pantry services
- Case management and advocacy
- Connections to housing, healthcare, mental health and recovery resources
- Transportation, employment, legal, and social service resources
- Emergency support and other community resources
Our goal is simple: meet people where they are, help meet their immediate needs, and connect them with the support they need for what comes next.
